Vieux Carré

A complex New Orleans classic with rye, cognac, and two bitters.

Ingredients

• 0.75 oz Rye Whiskey
• 0.75 oz Cognac
• 0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 0.25 oz Bénédictine
• 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
• 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
2. Stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
