Improved Whiskey Cocktail

Jerry Thomas's "Improved" version of the Old Fashioned.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Rye Whiskey
• 0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur
• 1 dash Angostura Bitters
• 1 dash Absinthe

Instructions

1. Stir with ice.
2. Strain into rocks glass with ice.
3. Lemon peel.
